Terms of Service

edyt.video is built and operated by Emily and Ryan, working as independent developers. We may update these terms as the product changes. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to let users know.

You must be at least 13 years old to use edyt.video. If you buy or manage a paid plan, you must be old enough to enter into a contract in your location or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for your account, the content you upload or create, and how you use exported videos. You must not use edyt.video to break the law, violate someone else's rights, upload malicious content, interfere with the service, or attempt to bypass usage limits or billing controls.

You must not use edyt.video for illegal activity, intellectual property infringement, adult or sexual content, hateful or violent content, malware, fraud, abuse, regulated goods or services, deceptive practices, or any activity that could harm users, the service, or our payment and infrastructure providers.

You may need an account to create, save, export, or manage projects. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use creates risk, violates these terms, or harms other users or the service.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Plan prices, limits, and included features are shown on the pricing page and may change over time. You can manage eligible plan changes, payment methods, invoices, and cancellation through the Stripe billing portal.

Billing, cancellation, failed payments, and refunds are covered in our Billing & Refund Policy.

You keep ownership of the projects, assets, prompts, and exports you create or upload. You give us permission to store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide edyt.video, including editor features, project saving, exports, previews, AI features, support, and abuse prevention.

You confirm that you have the rights needed for any assets, prompts, trademarks, logos, music, images, videos, or other material you use in edyt.video.

If you share, publish, or make a project, template, asset, preview, or export available through edyt.video, you allow us to host, display, copy, preview, transmit, and make that content available as needed for the sharing, publishing, cloning, preview, and related product features you use.

You still keep ownership of your content, but you are responsible for making sure you have the rights needed to share or publish it.

edyt.video may include AI-assisted editing, generation, or automation features. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to content created by others. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before publishing, exporting, or relying on it.

We are actively building the product. Features may change, fail, be rate-limited, or become unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or compatibility with every browser, workflow, or export target.

If you believe content on edyt.video infringes your copyright or other rights, contact hello@edyt.video with enough information for us to review the issue.

• Identify the copyrighted work or rights you claim are affected.
• Identify the content you believe is infringing, including a URL or enough detail for us to find it.
• Include your contact details and a statement that you own the rights or are authorized to act for the owner.
• Include a statement that the information you provide is accurate.

• The service is provided as is and as available.
• We do not promise that edyt.video will meet every requirement, be error-free, or produce any specific commercial result.
• To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
• To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for edyt.video in the three months before the claim.
