Billing & Refund Policy
This policy explains how paid subscriptions, cancellation, failed payments, and refunds work for edyt.video.
Subscriptions
edyt.video offers paid plans such as Pro and Studio. Paid plans are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. Current prices, limits, and features are shown on the pricing page.
Plan changes
Eligible plan upgrades, downgrades, payment method changes, invoices, and cancellations are managed through the Stripe billing portal. Plan changes may take effect immediately or at the next renewal depending on Stripe's billing rules and portal configuration.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription through the Stripe billing portal.Cancellation stops future renewals, but it does not automatically refund fees already paid for the current billing period.
Downgrades and cancellations may reduce access to paid features, higher plan limits, storage, export quality, cloud rendering, or other paid capabilities.
Refunds
Payments are generally non-refundable. We do not provide automatic refunds for unused time, accidental renewals, plan downgrades, feature changes, lack of use, or cancellation after a renewal.
We may make exceptions at our discretion, and we will provide refunds where required by law. To ask about a billing issue, contact hello@edyt.video.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer rights or statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Projects and assets after cancellation
Canceling or downgrading a paid plan does not automatically delete existing projects or assets solely because the plan changed. However, access, storage, export behavior, and other product features may be limited by the active plan and current account limits.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe may retry the payment and your account may move into a past-due or limited state. Access to paid features may bereduced, paused, or downgraded if payment is not completed.
Taxes and fees
Prices may not include taxes, duties, currency conversion fees, or bank charges. Where applicable, Stripe may calculate and collect taxes or show tax details at checkout.
Disputes and chargebacks
- Contact us first at hello@edyt.video if you believe there is a billing mistake.
- Chargebacks or payment disputes may lead to subscription suspension while the issue is reviewed.
- Abuse of disputes or payment systems may result in account termination.
